Crystal Palace sits at the top of the ridge where Lambeth, Southwark, Croydon, Bromley and Lewisham meet. For us it is the next neighbourhood up, so we know its steep hills and busy junctions well. The streets around the Triangle, the area between Westow Hill, Westow Street and Church Road, are full of cafés, restaurants and independent shops, and they get busy in the evenings and at weekends.
Because we are so close, a typical pick-up from Crystal Palace is quick to arrange. From our base in Gipsy Hill to the Triangle is a short drive up the hill, usually around 5 minutes outside peak times.

Crystal Palace Park
The park is home to the Victorian dinosaur sculptures, the National Sports Centre, the maze and the concert bowl. Summer concerts and events in the park draw big crowds, so for those nights we recommend booking your journey home in advance and agreeing a pick-up point away from the main exits.
Crystal Palace station
Crystal Palace station, on Anerley Hill, has London Overground trains towards Canada Water and Highbury and Islington, and Southern trains to Victoria and London Bridge. We often collect people from here late in the evening, particularly those with luggage or who do not want to walk up the hill.
Selhurst Park
Crystal Palace FC play at Selhurst Park, a short drive south. On matchdays, the roads around the ground are very busy. If you are going with friends, our 7 seater taxi gets the group there and back together.
Airport runs from Crystal Palace
From the top of the hill, the quickest airport is usually Gatwick, reached via Croydon and the M23. London City is also a reasonable drive east via the river tunnels. Crystal Palace's hills make short journeys harder than they look on a map. A walk from the Triangle down to Gipsy Hill station or across to Upper Norwood is fine on a dry day, but not so easy with shopping, small children or at night. We are happy to take short local trips as well as longer ones, including runs to West Norwood, Dulwich, Penge and Sydenham.

The restaurants and bars around Westow Street and Church Road make the Triangle one of the busiest spots in the area on Friday and Saturday nights.
